Description

Try this single-serving Baileys eggnog recipe for an incredibly quick and easy holiday cocktail made with just four ingredients.


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 1/2 ounces Irish cream, such as Baileys
  • 1/2 ounce fresh cream or half and half
  • 1/2 ounce maple syrup (optional for a little sweetness)
  • 1 large egg
  • freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1 cinnamon stick, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pour the Irish cream, fresh cream or half and half, maple syrup (if using), and egg into a cocktail shaker. 
  2. Shake for 15 seconds, then add ice to fill the shaker up halfway and shake for another 15 seconds.
  3. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with grated nutmeg and a cinnamon stick.

Notes

If you tend to like the flavor of store bought eggnog, which tends to be sweet, don't skip the maple syrup.
